February/March Update 2007
 
We are having the Pancake Breakfast at Mallard Landing, 913 SE Clark Avenue, on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, from 9-11.  Breakfast is free, but a donation of $5 is suggested for the new building fund.
 
The Stepping Stone campaign is very successful so far.  We have had 22 donations of $360 each.  Each $360 represents the complete cost of one square foot of the new library.  A Tile of Appreciation will be given each donor as a memento of their gift.  The tiles will have a presentation message, a line rendering of the new building, and the donor's name inscribed on it.
 
The Battle Ground Chamber of Commerce has named the library campaign as its Helping Hands recipient for the 2007 Casino Night on March 3.  The Chamber will put two of the remaining library Chair-it Chairs in its oral auction.  The proceeds will go to the building campaign.
