It apears there is a compatibility problem for publishers using Mircosoft Internet Explorer 7.0. If you are using 7.0, please let us know if you too are having this problem. This problem is being investigated.

To Login go to the Home Page and type in your User Name and Password.
Find your stories and next to the Story Title you will see an icon with a note pad and pencil over it.
Simply click on that icon and an on-line editor will open up for you to make changes to the Story.
To Save it Click the disk icon and it is saved. To cancel the edit, click the "X" icon.
 Adjustments have been made so that you can only edit your own story.

When you are done, navigate back to the Home page and click the "Logout" Button in the left hand side bar.
IMPORTANT! There are Inactivity Timers set up on the server to automatically log you out for the sake of security. There is no warning for this and they are set to 15 minutes.
"IF" you feel you are running out of time, click the save button and then come back to finish your writing.
A real time saver is to write your stories ahead of time with something like Microsoft Word and use the Spelling and grammer checker before you publish your story. It is not advisable to copy your work directly from Word and insert it into your article. A better alternative is to copy form Word and paste into "Note Pad" which all PC's have and then use the on line editor to change fonts, insert bullets, centering, etc.    Results using Word pasting directly into the on-line editor sometimes causes problems which may not be apparent to all users.
The on-line editor does not have a Spell Checker, so check your work carefully.

When you are finished, Navigate back to the home page and click Logout.
Then click log out again when it comes to the page saying you are logged into the private area.
 Do not panic if you did not log out properly as the Timer will log you out.

Do I have to stay within a certain category? No, this is really open to anything that is informational to other people in Clark County and may even inspire new groups to form. If you are a business or organization within a particulat city or town, but you provide service throughout the County for instance, it is appropriate to have a listing in both categories.

How Do I write a "New" Story? When you first logon you will see an icon that says "Submit News". You simply click on that and start writing or simply paste your edited work into the writing area and click save. (Remember there is a 15 minute inactivity timer and neither one of us wants to see that effort wasted.)
